Peace in life !

We spend most of our life running after things, doing things. We forget that being comes before doing. Those who remember this secret make an effort to "be" and discover that when they stop and observe, life helps and brings whatever is needed. Learning to be is learning to be at peace. It is our most fundamental nature.

  1. Yes,peace is our fundamental nature.Learning to be at peace must be our prime aim of life.Running after things is due to 'rajo gun' which never let anyone to be at rest.Rajo gun also gives birth to durasha{wrong expectation)which kills the person
by letting him run after those things which never let him to feel fulfilled and satisfied.

    Dear Vishal ,

Being an iron lady means being spiritual and compassionate for all. Full of zeal in all circumstances. One who never gives up , indifferent towards joy and woes and very independent in her thinking.

That is how I feel . Others may have a different opinion or definition of this term.

    thanks.

  6. Nice to read your articles on this blog. Difficult, but good suggestion. I think there is a typographical mistake, i.e. fifth word in the first line should be OUR in place of YOUR. Thanks.

  12. @ - We spend most of our life running after things, doing things.
Reason is -- Our basic human nature is to never be in isolation.

We forget that being comes before doing.
Very definitely. Being is something which is pre-eternally existent, conscious, aware, enlightened and flamboyant.

Those who remember this secret make an effort to "be" and discover that when they stop and observe, life helps and brings whatever is needed.
    Yes, very good indeed.

Learning to be is learning to be at peace.
The intellect plays the biggest role of being a barrier here, sometimes. Otherwise, the art of being-ness is a natural phenomenon. Something like "Miracles are natural happenings, but when they don't occur as we expect them to, we say -- Oh, something must have gone wrong"

It is our most fundamental nature.
Very much. Thank you for these wonderful thoughts and feelings, that you shared with us. Yours, JR.

    1. It was dificult for me understand your post clearly. It is entirely my fault . I feel some of our nature is explained by our basic instints and some acquired from our environment. Genotype as I understand reflects being and examplifies basic instints. Environment make us to show what others or environment wants us to show. Being means peace with nature. Environment means a pro active style which goads us to change, improve, modify or impersonate and in the process we keep on doing things.
God has created a complex human being. We try to simplify it for a short while and in the process derive some mundane pleasures. I donot know if I understood you correctly.
